Type 304 stainless steel tops are nearly impossible to corrode and withstand harsh environments better than all other types of stainless steel. Choose either 1-1/4" thick top with industrial strength particle board core topped by 16-ga. stainless steel with #4 finish and hard rubber T-mold edge and backer sheet; or 1-1/2" thick top with 1-7/16" thick MDF core topped by 16-ga. stainless steel with #3 finish and welded, polished smooth stainless steel edge and melamine backer sheet.
