Shop-Mate Workbenches feature a strong, smooth surface that offers lasting strength and service and is 30% harder than maple. The Shop-Mate top has a hard, glass smooth surface of 3/8" thick, 62-lb. density phenolic resincore. Rounded front edge, 1-3/4" top uses 1" industrial grade 45-lb. density particleboard core with clear hardwood bands. 2-1/4" top, with beveled front and back edges, has a high-strength lumber core with clear hardwood bands. Both are vinyl sealed with a catalyzed varnish to resist diluted acids and other conventional liquids. Strong, stringer-braced 14-ga. welded legs provide a rigid steady base. Made in USA.
