HERCULES Automatic Drum Lifts quickly turn your forklift into a drum handling machine. Drum handlers slide onto forks and are secured by turn-down bolts. 6-3/8"Wx2"H fork pockets are 26" center to center. Heavy-duty drum lifter features spring and cam actuated jaws that automatically grip when engaging the drum and release when lowering it. Strong steel shaft lets gripping arms work parallel to each other for better operator control and steady drum placement. Model 74442 includes U.S. Patent #4,318,661. Economical Herc-U-Grab model is perfect for low-volume drum handling jobs. 1/2x2-1/2" lifting arms automatically grasps drums by utilizing a unique knuckle-gripping system and the natural pressure of a loaded drum.
