As a leading distributor of industrial supplies, C&H carries over 40,000 products for all types of commercial, industrial and institutional businesses. C&H is part of TAKKT AG, the predominant group of business-to-business mail order companies for business equipment solutions in Europe and North America. Our US distribution network includes centers in WI and NV. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic leader for our state-of-the-art 360,000 square foot facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

 

This key role is responsible for the vision and strategic leadership of the following functions and processes: Receiving, Material Handling (put away and inventory accuracy), Order Picking, Order Packing and Outbound Shipping. The successful candidate for this role will utilize strong problem-solving skills and be able to cooperatively work on improvements with Logistics and Sales as well as other company functions. The manager will be responsible for the overall management of 28+ employees with 6 direct reports.  Experience with development and analysis of various metrics, i.e. on-time receiving, on-time shipping, productivity and inventory accuracy will be a priority. As such, this individual will be adept at identifying gaps and developing and implementing plans to problem solve, incorporating lean initiatives.

 

The ideal individual will have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management or other related field. Progressive career growth with a 7-year track record in achieving operational goals in distribution with 5 of those years of experience in staff management/development required. Candidate needs excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and a good working knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft. We seek someone with excellent analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to apply statistics, basic accounting, and ROI-based business math to make proposals and decisions. Our DC Manager will be responsible for managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast paced environment.
