Crush drums and compact trash with VESTIL’s Drum Crusher/Trash Compactor. Safe, easy-to-use machine crushes 30- or 55-gallon drums from approximately 33"H to 6"H—using 38,000 lbs. of force. Unique trash compacting feature includes variable pressure gauge and removable drum crushing platen that allows you to compact only the drum contents and not the drum itself (compactor only works with 55-gallon drum—not included). All moving parts are completely enclosed. Safety Stop feature ensures that unit will automatically shut down if the door is opened or if power is lost. System relief valve prevents overload. Pilot lights show direction of ram travel while operating. 6.5 hp power unit and keyed on/off switch. Up/down controls are waterproof, 24-volt pushbuttons. The 3000-psi hydraulic system has a 15-gal. reservoir and meets JIC standards. 25-second cycle time. Constructed of solid 10-ga. steel. Built-in forklift pockets. Made in USA.
